Hi Karina!
I'm afraid that my laptop is too old to bear plating a DVD (though I tried). Anyway. One good point for my laptop is that now it has a picture of the Snowy Mountains and River as (Irealise I don't know how to tell that!) the "back screen"; you know, the picture you get when your computer is on.
I'm glad you finally answered. Maybe you're right about my nickname. My uncle arrived in Australia in 1968. But I remember that he said that he always reminded me as a smiling person. I should ask him.
Each time I see a landscape of the Snowy Mountains I feel like I'm melting!!
Something else: I tried to find where I could buy "Tom singing Sinatra" CDs but I could not on Amazon sites (I think not even on the American one). As a musician, I would be very interested in listening to his voice.
One other thing about music : it was not so difficult to perform Jessica's theme on my piano, and each time I play it, my older daughter comes to listen to. She's fond of that tune! We had the chance of having a French version on the American DVD of the Man from Snowy River, so the children could appreciate the movie too, though I don't really appreciate this dubbing : You can't get all the different accents!
I should let you for this time.
Glad to be in contact with you.
Till next time,
Smiley.
Hi Smiley
I thought I would answer you in this board as it was about Toms singing.
The Sinatra show CD and DVD are available in Australian stores but while the CD will play for you, the DVD may not.
This is an online store I use a lot - they sell a lot of stuff for Tom.

They will post overseas.
I honestly cant imagine what it is like watching an Australian movie in the US version (so much was cut out!) and then dubbed in French! But while you cant hear the accents you can still listen to the lovely soundtrack and admire the stunning scenery.
