TRUCKING magnate Lindsay Fox's extravagant three-day 70th birthday party ended last night with a million-dollar bash at his harbourfront mansion.
A roll-call of names from the highest echelons of business, politics and entertainment partied beneath a giant, see-through marquee at Fox's Boomerang in Elizabeth Bay.
The party has travelled across Sydney since it started on Thursday night with a harbour cruise, and guests donned huge hats and cowboy gear for a Western-themed hoe-down at Randwick Racecourse on Friday night.
Party planner Peter Jones was the brains behind the series of events.
His contract included a confidentiality agreement, but that didn't stop a flood of tidbits making the gossip pages before the party kicked off.
Early reports that Celine Dion would be on hand for the entertainment at the black-tie do were dismissed in favour of "an all-Australian bill''.
When singer Tom Burlinson turned up for rehearsals at the $21 million family home, this appeared to be confirmed.
Other names touted for last night's entertainment included Hollywood heavyweight Hugh Jackman, who attended the lavish series of events with wife Deborra-lee Furness.
Fox had celebrated his 70th birthday in style with four days of parties.
His 300 lucky guests included United States casino tycoon Steve Wyatt, James Packer, Eddie McGuire, John Laws, former politician Jeff Kennett and businessman John Elliott.
